To Be Held On 16/5/2020
This is a new short course (4 hours). It is suitable for anyone who is interested in bees, (including honeybees) pollinating insects and their interaction with plants. The main focus will be on the most common UK bees / pollinators, what they need to thrive; the plants which they rely on and how these can be used as part of a bee and people friendly garden.
Little or no prior knowledge is needed. We hope that it will be fun as well as helping to address the issue of what each one of us can do to help prevent our pollinators face extinction.
This course is not intended for those who have decided to become or are beekeepers. It does not address the skills or knowledge that are required to maintain a honeybee colony.
